Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026. By using Tokless, you agree to the terms below. They are written to be readable, not to trick you.

1. Acceptable use

Tokless is provided for personal, non-commercial use in saving public TikTok media. You agree to use the service in a way that respects the rights of content creators and complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

2. User responsibility

You are responsible for the URLs you submit and for what you do with the files you download. Tokless does not verify who owns any given piece of media. If you are unsure whether you have the right to download or reuse a particular video, do not use the service for that video.

3. Copyright

Content on TikTok is protected by copyright. Downloading a video for personal viewing is generally treated as fair use in many jurisdictions, but re-publishing, monetizing, or distributing a downloaded video without permission from the rightful copyright holder may violate the law. You accept full responsibility for such actions.

4. Prohibited abuse

You agree not to use Tokless to: attempt to overwhelm the service with automated traffic; probe for security vulnerabilities without authorization; circumvent rate limits; or process content that is illegal, harmful, or that violates the rights of others.

5. Service availability

Tokless is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep it fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.

6. Third-party services

Tokless resolves public TikTok media using TikTok's own endpoints and content delivery network. Those services are governed by their own terms and are outside our control. If TikTok changes or restricts access to public media, parts of Tokless may temporarily or permanently stop working.

7. Intellectual property

The Tokless name, logo, and site design are the property of the Tokless project. The underlying open-source components remain under their respective licenses.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tokless and its maintainers are not liable for any damages, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to data loss, corruption, or copyright disputes involving downloaded content.

9. No warranty

No express or implied warranty is provided, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Changes to the service

We may add, remove, or change features at any time. Where possible, breaking changes will be noted in the project's public repository if applicable.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Continued use of Tokless after an update means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top of the page reflects the last change.

12. Termination

We may block or restrict access to Tokless if we detect abuse, automated overuse, or behavior that endangers the service. No account exists to terminate, so this simply means the service may refuse to respond to a specific source of traffic.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable to the operator of the site. If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
